What refacing actually swaps
Refacing replaces the doors, the drawer fronts, the hardware, the hinges, and the glides. That is the full list, and it happens to be every part of a kitchen your hands ever meet. The cabinet boxes, the countertops, and the plumbing stay put.
What it does not do is move anything. A cramped corner is still a cramped corner afterward, and a box with a failing bottom is still failing. When the boxes are sound and the layout is fine, that limitation costs you nothing. When it is not, custom cabinets are the honest answer and we will say so at the measure.
Hardware
New hinges and glides are the part people feel
Doors that drift open and drawers that stick are hinge and glide problems, not door problems. Refacing here includes soft-close hinges and soft-close glides throughout, which is usually the single change people notice first.
Pulls and knobs come in solid steel and aluminum, and the full range is in the hardware catalog if you would rather choose your own.

What is cabinet refacing?
Replacing the doors, drawer fronts, hardware, hinges, and glides while the existing cabinet boxes stay mounted to the wall. The kitchen reads as new from the outside because every visible surface is new.
Is refacing worth it, or should I just replace?
It comes down to the boxes and the layout. Sound boxes and a layout you like make refacing the better value. A layout that frustrates you every day will still frustrate you in a refaced kitchen.
Can you change the door style completely?
Yes. The door style, the finish, and the hardware are all open, which is why a refaced kitchen rarely looks like a version of the old one.
Do the new drawers slide differently?
They should. Refacing here includes new soft-close glides, so drawers pull out fully and close themselves the last inch.
Can you refinish or repaint the doors I already have?
No. We do not strip, sand, spray, or repaint existing cabinet doors. Refacing here means the old doors and drawer fronts come off and new ones go on. If refinishing is what your kitchen actually needs, a painter is the right trade for it.
